Cíl

The course mission is to develop students' receptive (reading, listening) and productive (speaking, writing) language skills and to enhance their grammar and vocabulary knowledge at level B2 by means of academic topics/issues related to the sphere of special needs education.After completing the course, students can use selected SNE terminology with natural and sophisticated control, show a good command of selected grammar structures, understand both written and spoken academic texts at level B1+/B2, can produce a formal letter + simple project statement, and can give an oral presentation on a particular SNE issue.

Požadavky

Předpokladem pro zapsání tohoto předmětu na úrovni B2 CEFR je znalost anglického jazyka minimálně na úrovni B1.B1 level knowledge of English is required. The B1 student understands the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters, can enter unprepared into conversation about familiar topics and connect ideas in a simple way, can provide information, take messages, give simple instructions and deal with less routine problems, e.g. complaints. He or she can also describe events, experiences, hopes and ambitions; give reasons, explanations of plans and opinions.
