At the end of the course students should be able to>understand and explain the complexity of the enlargement process – the political, legal and economic factors, to work with information on the EU’s conditionality applied vis-à-vis candidate countriescreate own opinion for the status and progress of Western Balkan Countries and Republic of Macedonia, to allow students to appreciate the challenges of future enlargements (the countries of Western Balkans)make deductions based on acquired knowledge, to interpret critically on the accession process and conditionality employed in the relations with pre-candidate and candidate countries from Western Balkan region.
