Cíl

The aim of the course is to introduce students with the basic aspects of EU administrative law and the process of its implementation in Poland. During the course students will see differences between substantive and institutional administrative law and how this division influences implementation of EU law. Second objective is to familiarize students with regulations in EU and Poland (and partly in some other systems) concerning access to so called public information. The last goal is to get to know the example of material administrative law which finds its basis in EU system and are developed in Polish system – data protection rules.At the end of the course, students should:Be able to explain how European Union administrative law is being implemented in Poland;Be able to compare the influence and way of implementing European administrative institutional and substantive law;Have a better understanding of European administrative law implementation problems;Know the ratio legis and mechanisms of the right to access public information, including possible exceptions;Understand the reasons of common rules on data protection in EUBe familiar with the rules of data protection in EU and in Poland
