Získané způsobilosti

Student pracuje s texty výrazných představitelů americké židovské literatury zejména 20. století. Využívá i doplňujících zdrojů sekundární literatury. Získá tak hlubší znalost tvorby nejvýznamnějších amerických židovských spisovatelů a nejdůležitějších rysů americké židovské literatury. Rovněž získá obecný přehled o židovství a židovské kultuře. Vzhledem k tomu, že výběr textů chronologicky mapuje historii přistěhovalectví Židů z Evropy do Ameriky, dokáže zařadit jednotlivá díla do historického kontextu. Zároveň si upevňuje schopnost interpretace literárního díla.
