Methodological guidance of doctoral students during writing their dissertation. Continuous supervision over the work progress: selection and analysis of sources, elaboration of component (sub) chapters of the dissertation. Complementing literature by the latest items. Identifying potential factual errors, problems and deviations from the plan, subsequent determination of time-advanced tasks leading to timely completion of the dissertation. Preparing for the presentation at the defence.
Literatura
Literature to be recommended corresponds with the nature and focus of the dissertation and is defined for each doctoral student separately.
Požadavky
- Regular consultations with the tutor dedicated to an analysis of texts of component (sub) chapters of the intended thesis. It is an advanced stage of the dissertation elaboration. Therefore, especially the student's ability to demonstrate in which aspects the dissertation meets the set objective is required. - Participation in the methodological afternoons. - Passive participation in the Spring School. Credit will be awarded to the student based on: - The tutor's statement as to the dissertation (students are responsible to keep track of the consultations undertaken with the tutor). - A confirmation of active participation in the Spring School. - A proof of participation in the methodological afternoons. - Presenting and defending the implementation of component research issues/tasks/results to professional public in a foreign language (in this case represented primarily by other doctoral students) with an option of using audiovisual equipment. Preparing the project for presentation at a scientific conference. - Submitting further (new) 40 pages of the dissertation text to the respective tutor. - Preparation of a component text to be published in a professional journal (its selection will be discussed with the tutor).
