- Introduction - digital cameras and other technical gear.- Exposure - shutter speed, aperture, ISO.- Depth of field, focal length, perspective, composition rules.- Creative techniques of shooting - light painting, panoramas.- Using external flash.- Adobe Camera RAW - basic (global) adjustments.- Adobe Photoshop - portraiture retouching.- Adobe Photoshop - composing (layers, masks, filters).

Student acquires- skills to operate with digital cameras,- ability to handle basic principles of exposure and composition,- overview of basic types of photography (macro, portraiture, landscape, panorama, etc.),- knowledge about types of cameras, lenses and other photographic gear,- skills to adjust photos inside advanced photo retouching application,- skills to recognize and prevent in future some of the most common defect in photography (chromatic aberration, over-exposed photos, barrel distortion, etc.)- knowledge about different graphic file formats, their usage, advantages and disadvantages.
