Požadavky

Students don't need to have previous statistical knowledge or programming skills. For the course completion, it is required to be present in classes and to submit a correct solution of several homework tasks assigned by lecturer. Final exam consists of two parts, written test covering the lecture topics (40 % of the final grade) and time-limited practical solution of a given task in R (60 % of the final grade). The result of a course examination is expressed on a four-point scale: 1 = excellent, 2 = very good, 3 = good, 4 = fail. Final assessment of the exam is as follows: 0 - 50 pts. = fail, 51 - 70 pts. = good, 71 - 90 pts. = very good, 91 - 100 pts. = excellent. For successful completion of the course, basic knowledge of algebra is useful, but not necessary.
