Získané způsobilosti

By the end of this course, it is expected that students will have gained the following:- comprehension of the relationship between 'migration studies' and 'development studies',- synthesis of the range of perspectives of migration issue in developing countries(environmental, social, geographical, etc.),- knowledge of formal competitions and work techniques (team work, sources analysis, data synthesis, usage of software for electronic presentation, self-opinion presentation and advocacy during the plenary discussion, etc.)

How to successfully finish the course:Presentation of the case study in the lesson (will be confirmed by teacher) and essay which will be delivered to the teacher in the written and electronic form (essay) not late than (will be announced on the first lecture). The readings to the lectures are strictly recommended for good understanding the lecture content.Team presentation:Time: 25 minutes topics presentation (including electronic projection) + 20 minutes for plenary discussion? each of the team member has to present her/his topic (proportionally)? questions for plenary discussion list of referencesEssay (team seminar paper):? Extent of the essay: approx. 5,000 words length each (will be confirmed when numbers inthe group are known)? such topic as for the presentation? take in notes and question from prior plenary discussion? statistical data, graphs, etc.? citation of sources into the text? list of references? Dead line : will be annouced on the first lecture
