City and village life
CITY AND VILLAGE LIFE
The main difference is that the city is large and busy, but the village is usually small and quiet place. The air in the village is fresher than in the city.
CITY
ADVANTAGES OF THE LIFE IN THE CITY
It’s so easy to get around, public transport is excellent – it’s cheap and efficient
Everything I want is only five minutes away – it’s so convenient
In the city centre you will find all the shops and banks
DISADVANTAGES
There is a lot of traffic on the road
there is a loud noise
there is no much space to built a house and it is much more expensive
VILLAGE
ADVANTAGES OF THE LIFE IN THE VILLAGE
Fresh air and nature
Quiet place
Few inhabitants
Cheaper property prices
Quiet streets
DISADVANTAGES
Everything is far away
Bad transportation
No every village have their own school
No shopping centres
MY town
I live in a town called Kladno, where is about 70 thousand inhabitants. I live in a bresson district and in my opinion, it is a pretty quiet place. I live near to the forest so I can walk my dog anytime. In Kladno there is also a run-down area and for me it is a Podprůhon. There is no litter bins.
My favourite city
It is probably Murcia in Spain. It is a small town near to Alicante. There is so much to do. There is a shopping centre, many monuments, souvenirs shops, daily markets and even a theme park. Only problem are tourists. There are everywhere so the traffic is everywhere too. So you have to stay in a line in the restaurant, on the toilets or for taking picture in front of some famous place.

TALKING ABOUT CITY LIFE
Trying to get a seat on the train during the rush hour is a nightmare. It’s so crowded. Driving is even more stressful – the traffic is awful between 5 and 7.
The walls in the town centre are covered in graffiti.
There is a real mix of people in Brighton. It has a very cosmopolitan feel to it.
I love it here. Everything I want is only five minutes away. It’s so convenient.
Everything is a bit more expensive here and property prices are extremely high. A lot of people have no choice but to live out in the suburbs and commute in to work.
It’s too easy to get around. Public transport is excellent – it’s cheap and efficient.
People are always so busy. Everybody’s rushing about all the time.
The roads are terrible. I’m always getting stuck in traffic.
The underground system is impossible. I’m always getting lost.
