What is Free time
Free time = leisure time – it is when you don’t have to be at school or work. You don’t have to study, do chores or anything.
Active leisure time
It is divided into 3 categories – social, cognitive and physical
Social activities – focus on socialising with other people
Cognitive activities – activities like: collecting stamps, playing chess/other board games, feeding ducks or fishing
Physical activities – activities that are necessary for your physical health: sports and exercises
Passive leisure time
It requires little effort
It includes: watching TV, listening to music, reading, etc.
It is good for relaxing and in is necessary for your mental health
