Obsah
This module presents the models and software concepts to design parallel programs. The notion of processes and threads are presented. The course highlights the interests and dangers of parallel programming, in particular the mutual exclusion problem. Some well-known mechanisms are studied and the different concepts will be illustrated and experimented with UNIX.
