Získané způsobilosti
By completing the course, students will understand the main features of development and current situation of Central European political systems. They will understand the nature of communist regimes, they will be able to analyse the processes of democratic transition and consolidation. They will have knowledge of the current Central European political systems and party systems. The students are supposed to analyse the issues and events covered by the course and to compare the situation in various countries within the region.

Main requirements:a) Regular attendance and participation. b) Readings and tasks students are expected to read assigned materials prior to seminars and be ready to discuss them. Students are also given other tasks - details to be specified before the beginning of each semester.c) Written exam.Compulsory readings for seminars and detailed requirements will be specified for each semester.
