Obsah
For scholars from west to east "post-socialism" represents a highly frequented concept. It is obvious that its use is therefore reflected in multiplicity of its meanings. Generally speaking, "post-socialism" refers to a set of diverse processes and constellations - economic, political, socio-cultural, spatial, etc. which are the former socialist countries facing in the last twenty years. The aim of this course is to provide students: (1) basic conceptualizations of socialism and post-socialistic, (2) changes that the post-socialist countries went through and passes, (3) the specifics of everyday life in the context of post-socialist countries. The course put emphasis on the interdisciplinary and comparative dimension of post-socialist knowledge and research.
