Attendance in seminars is recommended, but not mandatory (nor taken into account in assessment). Midterm test (short answers) 20 %Final test (short answers) 40 %Short essay 40 %There will be only one date scheduled for the midterm, and a failure to appear at it will result in counting the final exam test with a cumulative weight of 60% (no excuses/exceptions allowed).Plagiarism in the essay will result in an immediate failure and the case will be submitted to the disciplinary committee.Grading scale:90-100: Excellent (1)75-89: Very good (2)55-74: Good (3)20-54: Fail with make-up option (4+)0-19: Fail without make-up option (4)When graded 4+, one make-up exam or essay re-submission is allowed. The make-up will take the form of a cumulative test with a cumulative weight of 60% , according to which the final grade will be awarded based on the following grading scale:75-100: Very good (2)55-74: Good0-54: Fail
