Cíl
The aim of this course is to explore the relationship between brain function and behaviour and the factors controlling the acquisition and expression of behaviour. The course covers the organization and structure of the brain and nervous system as well as examining the role of the brain (in particular) in behaviour. Both normal and abnormal functioning are considered and the biological and learning components of a some psychological disorders such as schizophrenia and drug addiction are examined. Knowledge of basic core information will be complemented by theoretical accounts of the phenomenon under scrutiny.

This course will be taught and assessed in the English language. Therefore a good standard of skills in English is a pre-requisite for this course.Attendance at lectures is expected and your attendance will be monitored.
