During this course you will learn how to present, argue and structure your ideas in English. This will be a useful set of skills whether you intend to go into commercial or academic fields.Attendance each week and submission of written assignments will count towards the final grade. Whatever your level of English, you will not do well if you don't do the work.The class will be divided into discussion groups of similar ability to allow students to discuss topics relevant to their level of English.No textbooks or grammar exercises will be used in class, but there will be discussion of any grammar questions students raise.

Požadavky

FIRST CLASS: Please prepare for the first class by watching a film in English. No writing is necessary.EXAMINATION: Attendance of each class and a written film review each week is necessary to score highly in this class.The final mark will be determined by the submission of a final 750-1000 word film review, which will be assessed on use of English, structure and written style.
