Tourism Marketing course 2015: SyllabusTourism Marketing course (JJB251) will be offered as the compact course - e.g. it will be taught in a distance-learning mode. What follows are the instructions and guidelines for the successful fulfilment of the requirements:1) The course will consist of the on-line interaction and assignments complemented by the intensive lecture sessions held on December 4-6, 2015 (Friday to Sunday) at room 014 (Hollar building), Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague, Smetanovo nábř. 6, Praha 1. The lecture sessions on December 4-6, 2015 will be held from 10AM until 5PM every day.2) In the previous years, Tourism Marketing course was designed as the thematic course (to find out more about the last year's topic "Project Operation Anthropoid", please open this link). The topic of this year's course is "Gamification in tourism".Students will receive their assignments and detailed instructions of what they are supposed to do in order to earn the credits in due time.3) The requirements for passing the course will be the following: each of the registered students will be asked to administer 5 questionnaires with tourists and residents in Prague (the questionnaires will be sent to you and the selection of the respondents will be explained later).In addition, all students will be divided into 10 groups with 5 students in each group. Each group will select the topic of the city game for which it will jointly prepare the scenario. Two or more groups will be allowed to choose the same topic (they will have to work separately and independently). The topics of the game will be offered later. Each group will present its game scenario during our lecture sessions in December.All additional information will be shared communicated to the registered students in due time. The student shave two weeks to decide whether they want to take this course.
