The system of Latin grammar for nouns (stem and suffix; case, number, gender) in relation to other European languages. Unit 1 - 1st declension nouns.2. Review and practice. Unit 2 - 2nd declension nouns - masculine and neuter.3. Review and practice. The system of 1st and 2nd declension adjectives. Collocation of nouns and adjectives of different endings.4. Review and practice. Unit 5 - 4th declension nouns + 1st and 2nd declension adjectives.5. Review and practice. Unit 5 - 5th declension nouns + 1st and 2nd declension adjectives.6. Požadavky

As for attendance, it is permitted to miss one practical class. If more, the reason for the absence must be confirmed by an official document.GAINING THE CREDIT:There are 7 vocabulary mini-tests during the winter term, each worth 10 points.The midterm test (during the 6th practical classes) will consist of medical phrase translation (both from Latin to English and English to Latin). The midterm test is evaluated by 30 points.The credit test consists of medical phrase translation (both from Latin to English and English to Latin). To pass the credit test, 75 % correct is required. 10 % of the points gained during classes (in mini-tests + midterm test) will be added to the score of the credit test. Students have 3 chances to pass the credit test. The 1st date (during the 10th practical classes) is obligatory for all students. If a student does not come (without an officially confirmed reason), he/she fails and loses the 1st chance. During the winter examination period, several dates for the 2nd attempt will be posted in the SIS, from which a student can choose. For those who do not pass (or do not come for) the 2nd attempt, the 3rd (i.e. last) attempt will be organized in September. Each student has to sign up for (or cancel) any test in the SIS. You can sit for the credit parts only in the given dates!
