Sylabus
Study of insects, chelicerates, other arthropods, molluscs and other invertebrate animals, as well as of birds, lizards, snakes, bats and other vertebrate animals. Collecting of animals and demonstration of specific animal societies on different natural habitats in the Czech Republic: meadows, steppes, forests, rivers, streams, lakes, artificial lakes, etc. Introduction to the fauna of National Park Podyjí, the most southern NP in Czech Republic. Determination of taxa on different taxonomic levels. Study of biology and behaviour of species in natural conditions. (According to current weather, elaboration of a simple talk about some interesting findings.)

Požadavky
Presence during whole course and activity of student is necessary. Students themselves collect and try to determinate materiál in the field and study animals in the nature. Elaboration of a simple project concerning these activities at the end of the course.
