Obsah
The course is designed for advanced students who are interested in learning news of various media forms in Chinese. The purpose is to introduce professional terms and styles often used in news articles and to establish reading ability of the written language in Chinese through extensive reading, explanation of passage usage, content summary, discussion and news reporting practice. Weekly topics include international politics, economics, business, social issues, health and science. Most of the articles are about China and are authentic materials without revision. In addition, several articles of the same topic from different angles would be provided as extra reading tasks after the main article for further thinking and discussion.
