A. How could we describe a change in the understanding of the visuality in the second half of the 20th century, for which we can find a specific designation: "The Pictorial Turn" (W. J. T. Mitchell)? We will be focused on selected trends in thinking about the visuality, while at the base of all our considerations will always be a question: 'what do Pictures want'referring to W. J. T. Mitchell's book with the same name.B. There is a specific set of questions on visuality (widely understood as the phenomenon of visual / pictorial) in the last decades; the set itself is a subject of many considerations: what are the trends of such debates concerning our thinking about what surrounds us in everyday life? (W. J. T. Mitchell, N. Bryson, H. Foster, Robert S. Nelson, Louis Marin, H. Damisch, G. Didi-Huberman etc.).
