Obsah
The course creates a condition for co-learning in which we learn together about the challenges of contemporary higher education. We discuss how the higher education has become co-modified beyond recognition. We also discuss the problem of disciplinary fragmentation. While the world calls for more synergistic and configurational ways of thinking and doing, our organization of learning in institutions of higher education is still based upon disciplinary fragmentation in terms of conceptions of and organization of disciplines based upon 19th century conceptualization and social organization which are no longer relevant. In our course, we discuss these challenges and the way we can create a transdisciplinary way of learning in the fields of higher education which is also sensitive to the needs of our soul, soil and Mother Earth.
Získané způsobilosti
By taking this course, students will gain intellectual and experiential competency to be aware of the problems of higher education. They would gain competency of critical self-reflection and creative reconstruction of the predicament of learning in the fields of contemporary higher education.
