Obsah

Thanks to non-urbanized non-technocratic environment the emotions and experiences of the participants can be triggered evoke new forms of self-realization. In carefully prepared conditions they will have a chance to observe the processes emerging when facing physical and psychological pressure, showing them the essential meaning of the Self-concept. Students will learn simple but effective relaxation techniques and calming procedures of wilderness therapy too.

Získané způsobilosti

The course seeks to provide better self-realization and understanding of psychological processes which are going on during sojourn in nature. By those knowledge students can learn how to work with their reactions during a stressful situation. Students will obtain new ideas and views at nature, so they can use their knowledge and cognition in the environmental field and its protection.

Požadavky

The course has two assessment criteria: (1) an active approach to learning, i.e. contributing to the class in various ways (discussion, sharing of reflections/observations, small group work, questions, etc.); and (2) oral description of own experience and changes gained during the course. Each criterion counts half of the course grade.
