The students will take active part in the morning round and outpatient clinics; will carry out routine work in the infant department, the department for older children and the intensive care unit; will perform blood sampling, including the taking of venous, capillary blood, will assist during specialized procedures (bone-marrow puncture, lumbar puncture, cathetrization, intubation), or other procedures, such as sonography, preparation of infusions etc. They will help with documentation, interpretation of laboratory results and will study the principles of care of chronically ill children.
Získané způsobilosti
Student will be able to use all information in the children´s preventive care. He will be able to be involved into the diagnostic and therapeutic actions under supervision of the experienced pediatrician.
