Practical part of the internal medicine state examination - contents:- examination of a patient, writing clinical records, including preliminary diagnosis and proposed investigations and treatment- assessing an ECG curve and conventional radiographic image or a scan obtained by other imaging methods (CT, MRI)- written test (20 multiple-choice questions)The oral theoretical part is based on answering and discussing four answers from the following areas of internal medicine:- cardiology and pneumology- gastroenterology, metabolic and nutritional disorders and rheumatology- haematology, nephrology and endocrinology- acute poisoning and physical damage, conditions in occupational medicine, infections and differential diagnosis in internal medicine.

Practical part of the internal medicine state examination: - takes part on the day before the date of the theoretical part (students having the theoretical part on Monday have the practical part on previous Friday)- students must have the course unit credits in their student's books.
