Obsah
The purpose of the subject Introduction to Clinical Medicine is to equip the medical student with the ability to establish professional and sensitive contact with the patient, be able to collect all aspects of the patient's medical history and perform a complete physical examination (aspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation) in the fields of internal medicine, pediatrics and surgery. Part of the practical training of examination of individual organ systems will include introductory theoretical and subsequently also review seminars dedicated to topics in internal medicine, pediatrics and surgery, including basic laboratory and complementary diagnostic examinations. Such training should provide the student with the capability of independent clinical practice. In surgery, attention will also be focused on basic surgical procedures.
Získané způsobilosti
Understanding of practical duties within the subject of Introduction to Clinical Medicine will give the student the capability to independently perform a basic internal, pediatric and surgical examination in an extent which allows subsequent specialized education of all three basic medical fields.
