The method of problem-based learning will be used throughout the course. It will be divided into four units containing the following topics:1. Trauma. Craniotrauma. Polytrauma (imaging logistics).2. Stroke (role of imaging methods).3. Urgent conditions in the thoracic area (benefits of imaging methods in acute cardiovascular disease, acute aortic disease, pulmonary embolism).4. Acute abdomen (imaging methods in acute abdomen and urgent abdominal conditions in children). Other common emergency conditions. Recapitulation.
Získané způsobilosti
On completion of the course, students will be familiar with the basic logistics of imaging in emergency conditions and, in particular, they will be able to correctly indicate the most appropriate imaging methods and interpret their results in the context of further diagnostic-therapeutic algorithm.
