Clinical principles of treatment of dental caries of tooth with vital pulp, and protection of dentine injury. Indications of filling materials are discussed, together with the practical use in the treatment of cariogenic and non-cariogenic defects. Practical part focuses on the ability to examine a patient, to make a treatment plan, and on the treatment of hard dental tissues defects.

Students are able to carry out an independent complex examination of a patient, make a treatment plan and treat hard dental tissues defects with plastic filling materials according to indications.
