Obsah
The international development cooperation and humaniterian action occupy an increasing place in the North-South relation. This seminar aims to trace out the history of foreign aid since the end of the Second World War. It helps students to familiarize with main concepts, instruments, institutions and policies of development cooperation. After the seminar, students will have a general knowledge of international cooperation system, the evolution, the logics, the policies and the nature of different provided services (financial assistance, technical aid, food aid, emergency aid). The seminar helps students to understand the place and the trend of development cooperation and humaniterian action in the today ever-changing international relations. The articulation between development cooperation and humaniterian action will be paid a particular attention.
