Požadavky

Kandidát/ka čte nahlas anglický odborný text (hodnotí se výslovnost jednotlivých hlásek, přízvuk, intonace a plynulost projevu) a překládá jej do českého jazyka. Následně provádí stylistickou analýzu, vymezuje charakteristické rysy příslušného funkčního stylu a prokazuje schopnost prakticky aplikovat své teoretické znalosti z oblasti lingvistiky (morfologie, syntax, lexikologie, stylistika)za využití kontrastivní analýzy, tj. srovnání s českým jazykem.Zkouška probíhá v anglickém jazyce (vyjma překladu). U překladu je hodnocena schopnost sumarizovat určitou část textu nebo kvalita co nejpřesnějšího překladu vybraného úseku. O hodnocení jednotlivých částí i celkovém výslekdu SZZ rozhoduje komise za nepřítomnosti kandidáta.
