1. Measurement of conditions of the laboratory experiment: Variables affecting measurement accuracy. General methods of pressure measurement and temperature data loggers. Influence of the atmosphere composition on experiment, measurement of flow velocity and humidity. Measurement of light intensity, photometers, colorimeters. Measurement of vibration, accelerometers. Noise measurements.2. Humidity measurement in gases: Theory, units. Psychrometry, optical and vibrational hygrometers, the use of adiabatic expansion, electrolytic sensors. Dilatation, resistive, capacitive hygrometers and resonant sensors. Spectral techniques (UV, VIS, IR, microwaves).3. Humidity measurement in liquids and solids: Chemical methods, Karl Fisher titration, automatic titrators. Determination of water content by drying.
