Studenti jsou schopni:- popsat a vysvětlit nadčasové dílo Williama Shakespeara,- zkoumat podstatu a dualitu literatury Viktoriánské éry,- vysvětlit a popsat díla autorů tzv. skupiny z Bloomsbury,- vysvětlit významnou inovaci nejen anglické prózy, techniku proudu vědomí,- popsat charakter/podstatu experimentálních próz Virginie Woolfové a Jamese Joyce,- vysvětlit a popsat tvorbu "rozhněvaných mladých mužů",- analyzovat a identifikovat znaky absurdního dramatu v díle Samuela Becketta, - uvést do souvislosti literární vývoj s kulturně-historickými změnami.
