Canada is the second largest country in the world. Canada is situated in Northern part of North America. In the north Canada is washed by the Arctic Ocean, in the east by the Atlantic, in the west by the Pacific Ocean. In the west Canada borders with America. The capital city is Ottawa. The largest city is Montreal. The original inhabitants of Canada were Indians and Eskimos. Canada has two official languages English and French.
Canada has continental climate with cold snnowy winters and warm summers. On the north there is a polar climate. In Canada there is a beautiful nature. The southern part of country is coverd in forest.
Canada is a country of lakes, there are thousands of them. The largest are Lake Erie and Ontario. Between them there are the famous Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is a major tourist attraction.
Canada is a constitutional monarchy. The head of state is UK´s Queen. She is represented by the Governor General.
Their flag has one white strip in the middle and two red strips. There is red maple leaf in the middle of the white stip.
