- Project - Temporary effort to create a unique product/service/result 
- Project management - a process of steering a project from the start through its lifecycle. The main objective is to complete a project within the established goals of time, budget and quality. - It has 5 phases: - Initiation - stakeholder approvals, documentation pertaining (vztahovat se k) to project needs, rough estimates of time and resources 
- Planning - detailed project plan, budget baseline, project scheduling, scope document 
- Execution (uskutečnění) - management of other resources (materials). Output of this phase are project DELIVERABLES 
- monitoring and controlling - project progress reports 
- closing – celebration and reflection
