If we want to eat out, we can choose from various kinds of restaurants, pubs, cafes and fast foods.

The reastaurants can be specialized on different world cuisines, for example Italian, Chinese, Indian or traditional Czech restaurants. Many restaurants also offer take-away and food delivery services.

During the few last years, the popularity of the fast-food restaurants is increasing because the food is ready in short time. Typical food you can get there are for example hamburgers, chips, chicken nuggets and sweet limonades to drink. This food is very unhealthy and caloric so I try not to go there very often but sometimes when I eat in fast food, I like chips and chicken burgers.

I prefer ordinary restaurants despite the service is slower there. The restaurants usually have a good atmosphere and you have enough time to enjoy your meal. On the other hand in fast food, there is everything fast so you have to quickly eat your food or take it along.

I personally don’t go to the restaurants very often, mostly on some special ocassions (celebrations, anniversaries) or when I’m on a vacation or on a trip.

When I go to the restaurant, I prefer the Italian cuisine. I love pizza, so I often go to pizzerias. My favourite pizza is prosciutto, chicken or mozarella. I also like pasta and almost every kind of vegetable Italian salad. I don´t go to the restaurants very often, only when my family celebrate something or with my boyfriend. So I mean it´s on the average twice o month.

I think lifestyle has changed a lot in the last few years. People now try to eat better food and they really care about their diet. Food is the important part of healthy lifestyle. It should be balanced and varied. Our diet should contain all basic food types – proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. On the other hand, we should avoid sweets, especially rafinated sugar, animal oil, white-flour pastry and other unhealthy food, especially fried and fat food. We should also drink about 2 litres of water every day, but it shouldn’t be coffee, alcohol, juices or lemonades.

Some of the countries which are known for healthy diet are for example Japan, where people eat lots of rice, fish and vegetable or Greece, where is cuisine very healthy because of using of quality olive oil.

In both of these countries people are very healthy, don’t suffer from obesity, cancer and cardiovascular diseases and life expectancy is quite long there.

I try to eat healthy, I eat lots of fruit and vegetable, I like wholemeal bread and cereals and I prefer fish and white meat and rice as the side-dish. I also try to avoid fast foods and generally fried food with lot of fat.

I have lots of favourite food. Actually, there is not a meal that I really hate. I like the Czech cuisine, but also the Italian cuisine - spaghetti, pizza, pasta, etc. I love when the sweet basa lis sed. And of course as many others I love chocolate. The things I hate to eat are the mushrooms, fat meat and some spicy food.
