e oldest 

religion in the world. Every follower (Hindu) is forbidden to harm or injure any 

living 

beings (humans, animals). Real Hindus also have to be patient and honest.

Hinduism is the main 

religion in India, Nepal and 

Bangladesh. According to 

the number of followers, 

which is around 900 

millions, it's the third 

biggest religion in the world, 

after Christianity and Islam.

Hindus worship a sacred animal - a cow. They also believe in a life after death 

and reincarnation 

into the body of a different species, according to how good they were during th

eir life.

All religious people can be 

divided into tw o main groups.

The first group are those who have a very strict approach to traditional practice

s, 

rules and beliefs. This group is usually more set on tradition and use a more 

conservative way of thinking. The other group is less strict, more broadminded
