My Home

I live in a flat in a block of flats. Our flat is one of the bigger ones in the building. It has four main rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, a hall, and a balcony.

My mother has her own bedroom, my two siblings share one room, and I have my own room. We also have a living room, where we spend time together as a family. There is a dining table, television, sofa, and also a piano.

My room used to be a dining room, but later we changed it into my room when my dad moved away. Now it is full of my personal things—such as pictures, photos, books, and also a map of the world on the wall. I have my guitar there, some blankets, stuffed animals, a wardrobe with clothes, and also a colourful carpet from my grandma.

My Dream Home

My dream home could be a medium-sized family house. I would like it to be bright and colourful inside —colourful furniture with white walls. If it had two floors, I would love to have a slide next to the stairs!

I would also really like to have a garden, because I have never lived in a house with a garden.

Conclusion

Housing is very important because it gives us comfort, safety, and a place where we belong. Even though housing is becoming more expensive today, having a place we can call home is still one of the most important things in life.
