The USA

The United States of America is located in North America. It borders Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The USA is one of the largest countries in the world. The capital city is Washington, D.C., currency is U.S. dollar.

The USA is the third most populous country in the world.

The United States are a nation of immigrants. The population is diverse with people from all over the world.

Geography:

The geography of the USA is very diverse. In the east is the Atlantic Ocean and on the west is the Pacific Ocean. There are high mountains in the West. In the center there are deserts and in the east are lowlands. The longest river is Mississippi.

The lowest point in the country is in Death Valley which is at (-86 meters) and the highest mountain is Denali (6,198 meters).

National parks – there are a lot of national park. Grand Canyon in Arizona, Yellowstone park, Sequoia park in California and many others.

The United States of America consists of 50 states. I chose a few states which I will a little bit talk about:

California – the most populous US state, known for the city Los Angeles, where lives famous celebrities and it is famous for the film studios which are known all over the world. It is very popular tourist destination and people come here from all over the world.

Florida – the most famous city of Florida is Miami. Florida is located in the south of the US and it is known for its warm climate and beautiful beaches. It is very popular tourist destination.

Hawaii – Hawaii consists of eight islands. It is known for its beautiful beaches and underwater fauna. There is a diverse natural landscape and there are also good conditions for surfing and diving.

Alaska – Alaska is the largest state in the USA. It is located in the northwest of North America. Alaska is known for its landscape and national parks. It has the highest mountains in North America and a lot of protected wildlife. It is a very popular tourist destination for those who love nature.
