Why

Nowadays travelling is very popular. Why do people travel? There are many answers and reasons. For many of us is travelling a hobby. Most of us usually travel during holiday.

People want to see interesting nature or the most beautiful buildings in the world. Many people like visiting castles, chateaux, palaces, fortresses, ruins, rotundas, churches and many others. We can eat unusual food, we can see many different culture of life. We can meet new people and make some friends.

Also, not everyone can afford it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t travel. You can for example travel across your county and see interesting places too.

But some people travel on business, political or culture reasons. Others travel only for recreation, fun and adventure. So do I. But travelling can be dangerous too. We can meet bad people, get lost, get scammed by local people. Also be careful of pickpockets. Mostly they are on tourist’s places during a high season.

Transport

We can travel in many ways. Today, there are many kinds of vehicles that can travel on land, in the air or on water.

We can travel by car. Almost every family owns a car today. It is comfortable but you have to refill a gas.

Another popular kind of transportation is going by bus or train. Some buses even offer travellers food and drinks but they aren’t usually on time.

When we prepare for a trip or holiday to distant country or to a different continent, we can travel by ship or plane. Some people can be seasick, so ship isn’t the best option for them. Traveling by plane is faster and comfortable. And for me is travelling by plane really adventurous. I love the felling you have when you look out of the small window beside you and see a beautiful ocean. Or when you fly during a night over a big city, and you see how shiny the city is.

Hitch-hiking is very special type of travelling. Mostly it is used by young people, they are not afraid of a risk. Just step up to the road, give a thumbs up and wait for good people to give you a ride. Thai is usually for free.

Before you start your journey, you have to do a few things. First of all, you have to pack your luggage.

When we are going abroad we must have necessary documents – at first passport, sometimes we must have a visa, boarding tickets and we should change money to their currency. It is also a good idea to get some travel insurance in case you get hurt or you lost your luggage.

It is also a good idea to rent a car.

It is not necessary to know their mother tongue, but it is good to know at least English

When you are travelling to the seaside, do not forget to pack a swimsuit, swimming trunks and towels.

There are several types of holidays. You can organize the whole holiday by yourself or you can buy a package holiday from a travel agency. Services offer by travel agencies will take care ofy our accomodation, transportation, health insurance, accident and baggage insurance.
