Why do people travel?

They want to know new places, cultures and maybe people.

If you travel a lot you can learn languages.

Disadvantages of travelling

DISADVANTAGES - it’s usually expensive, some countries are dangerous

Means of transport +/ -, your favourite, the safest? Why?

Bus, train, car, motorbike, tram, underground, plane

CAR – it’s comfortable, because you can take a breaks along the way, you don’t have to pack in bags

BUS, TRAIN – there is more spase, it’s cheaper

My favourite is car and plane.

I think the safest is plane, because there is no traffic like on the road.

How do you travel to school?

I travel by bus or by train.

Public transport + / - , should be free/ how to improve it? Your worst experience, taxi,

Maybe it should be cheaper.

I think buses and trains should be more often, because there are a lot of people at once.

My worst experience was an hour delay of the bus, because I missed the connecting bus.

Should everybody have a driving licence nowadays?

I think some are reckless and could be dangerous drivers.

What do you need for travelling, what do you pack with you?

I need passport or identity card, some clothes, spare shoes, shower gel, food and water.

Importance of languages

Languages are important for travelling, you can communicate better abroad.

TRAVEL AGENCY – ADVANTAGES – They will arrange everything you need, for example transport from the airport to the hotel and offer you trips during your holiday.

TRAVEL AGENCY – DISADVANTAGES –You can’t extend or shorten your holiday when you need/want.

ALONE – ADVANTAGES – It’s cheaper, you are not dependent on anyone.

ALONE – DISADVANTAGES - You have to rely on yourself.

Travelling with family or friends?

I like both, but with friends it’s bigger adventure.

I think it’s not safe. You should do this as a last option.

I prefer summer holiday. I don’t like cold weather.

I usually take pictures of nature and of me with boyfriend or family, because it’s the nice memories of the vacation.

Yes, I like them. It’s better than be at school.

The best holiday was in Croatia 10 years ago with my family and this year with my boyfriend in Crete.
