twice before it is returned.
- Basketball – where the rules are exactly the same as in ordinary
basketball but the players compete in wheelchairs.
The “Special Olympics” are for people with some form of mental
handicap. These Olympics have the purpose of helping athletes of
all abilities to become fit, confident and positive as well as to bring
handicapped and non-handicapped people closer together.
What’s your opinion about the Paralympics and

sports activities for people with physical or mental disabilities. What

such disabilities? They say that more than two million handicapped
athletes from more than 80 countries take part in these Paralympics
