16. Food - typical Czech and English cuisine

During special occasions such as Christmas, traditional food is served both in Britain and our country. Fish soup, fried carp and potato salad is commonly made for Christmas. Our family doesn´t eat carp, my mother makes schnitzel with salad. Britain Christmas dinner includes roast turkey or goose filled with stuffing, roast potatoes, cranberry sauce, sausages wrapped in bacon called pigs in blanket and hot gravy. For pudding British eat a rich, fruity pudding which is doused in flaming brandy.
