WEAK AND STRONG FORMS-solution

There are forty or so such words in English. See the separate list of strong and weak forms. Practise listening for and using weak forms. This may be more difficult to say but the weak form is the normal pronuncation of these words.

The strong forms are only used a) At the end of a sentence.“Yes, I am“ b) For contrast: “He travelled to not from Liberec“. c)For emphasis: “You really must work harder!“ d)When a word is being quoted: “‘And‘ is a word you should never end a sentence with“.
