Crucible - ceramic pot for holding chemicals during heating.
Clay triangle - metallic triangle used to supporting crucible during heating.

Scoopula - similar to spoon, it is used to transfer solid chemicals.
Stirring rod - used for steering and mixing. It is made from glass.
Funnel - used to transfer liquids into glassware with small openings. It is also useful for filtration.
Volumetric flask - round flask, used to prepare solutions to an accurate volume.
Volumetric pipet - graduated glass tube used to measure exact volume of liquid.
Graduated cylinder - used to measure exact volume of liquid.
Wash bottle- useful for adding small quantities of water.

Polarograph – device that registers the current in electrolysis at a dropping mercury electrode.
Furnace – an enclosed structure producing heat.
Hood - an enclosed structure for carrying of fumes, sprays, smokes or dust.
