Unit 5.1 – Energy

Unit 5.2 - Fuels

• Fossil fuels - convention fuels, petroleum (crude oil), coal, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), petrol (gasoline), natural gas

• Alternative fuels - ethanol, renewable natural gas, biomethane, hydrogen, nuclear fuel, biofuels, methanol, biodiesel, advanced fuels, syngas, electricity

• Carbon neutrality (net zero) - the balance between the amount of emissions produced and those removed from the atmosphere

• Decarbonisation - lowering the amount of CO2 emissions

• to deploy - do you something effectively

• Eventually - in the end

• Ambient - existing in surrounding area (okolní)

• Conducive - making something likely to happen (napomáhající, usnadňující)
