Equity can be understood as fairness, and at the same time an important feature of English law which developed 
as a way of dealing with the inflexibility of the English legal system. 

Stare decisis is legal principle which can be understood as to stand by what has been decided. 
The British cabinet can be defined as political institution which is composed of the most senior ministers and it is 
the key decision-making body of the British government. 

Specific performance can be defined as a court order for a party to perform the actions required under a contract. 
Common law could be understood as a system of law based on custom which is administered and developed by 
the courts in judicial decisions. 

Civil law could be understood as a system of law based mostly on statutes enacted by national parliaments.
