• you can have and write your own blog - as a diary or about your hobby

• shopping or selling things online (e-shops)

• be careful what you share - some pages requires data about your card, ID, address, which may be dangerous

• internet-based platforms - usually in your phone, which serve to communicate with other people and sharing things

• you have your personal account or profile about yourself

• also account or profiles for ex. of companies, sport teams, bands, celebrities, magazines

• you can follow someone and someone can follow you (followers)

• communication through chatting with your family, friends, classmates, colleagues - private or in groups chats

• sharing your life - your experiences, special moments, travels, thoughts, ideas, pictures, memories

• advertising and marketing tool - useful for shops and companies to be seen more in public

• making money - you can make money doing social networks = taking care of someone else’s accounts (companies hire social media managers), or just being creator of some content (you make money through campaigns)

• getting know new people

• finding inspiration - where to travel, what to cook, where to go for dinner …
