Main Houses

House Arryn

House Arryn of the Eyrie is the main house in the Vale. Their lands are in the central-eastern region of the continent. House's religion is the Faith of the Seven.

House Baratheon

House Baratheon of Storm's End is a former royal house. Their centre was in the King's Landing. Typical signs of its members are black hair, blue eyes and square jaws. House's religion is The Stormlands.

House Greyjoy

House Greyjoy of Pyke is the main house of the Iron islands. Their lands are near the west coast of Westeros. Typical signs of its members are strong and ironbound temper. House's religion is the Drowned God.

House Lannister

House Lanniester of Casterly Rock is a current royal house. Their centre is in the King's Landing. Typical signs of its members are curly blonde hair and green eyes. House's religion is the Faith of the Seven.

House Martell

House Martell of Sunspear is an extinct Great House of Westeros. Their lands were in the peninsula of Dorne in the south of Westeros which is now colonized by the Sand Snakes. Typical signs of its members are classic Dornish features of olive skin, dark hair and dark eyes.

House Stark

House Stark of Winterfell is the main and also the oldest house of the North. Its motto "Winter Is Coming" is the most known quote from the serial. Typical signs of its members are black hair and grey eyes and their typical guarding animals are direwolves. House's religion is Old Gods of the Forest.

House Targaryen

House Targaryen is an exiled Great House of Westeros which ruled the country for three centuries till Robert's Rebellion. Their centre is Bay of Dragons, specifically Meereen. Typical signs of its members are classic Valyrian features of pale skin, platinum-blonde hair and blue eyes.

House Tully

House Tully of Riverrun is an exiled Great House of Westeros. Their lands are in the central-north region of the continent. Typical signs of its members are auburn hair and blue eyes. House's religion is the Faith of the Seven.

House Tyrell

House Tyrell of Highgarden is the main house of the Reach. Their lands are in the southwestern Westeros. House's centre was formerly in the King's Landing.

Tyrion Lannister - the youngest son of Tywin Lannister, intelligent and witted dwarf

Jaime Lannister - the eldest son of Tywin Lannister, incestuous sexual relationship with his sister Cersei, the member of the Kingsguard

Cersei Lannister - daughter of Tywin Lannister and widow of King Robert Baratheon, caring mother and calculative current Queen of the Seven Kingdoms

Daenerys Targaryen - daughter of Aerys II Targaryen, brave and ambitious ruler willing to rule the Seven Kingdoms with her three dragons

Jon Snow - presented as "bastard" of Ned Stark, actually - son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, honest and loyal current King of the North, former Lord Commander in the Night's Watch

Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger) - the former husband of Lisa Tully, manipulative "spy"
