Modern Ways of Communication

At last I would like to talk about the way modern ways of communication changed our language. There is a growing trend of shortening messages using abbreviations and emoticons to convey information. When people sent telegrams, Theky had to write short messages, because each letter cost money. Even now you can only send 140 characters in a SMS or tweet. There are many abbreviations common these days, such as LOL, FYI, IMO and more. Even when people send emails, they shorten them. Also, emails are less formal than letters, forcing a change in the society.
