centres was New Orleans. The piano, trumpet and 

saxophone are the most popular jazz instruments.

Rock and roll

is a relatively new genre 

that was created in the 

20th century. Composers 

and musicians use 

electronic instruments to 

perform this kind of 

music, but some elements 

of electronic music were 

used by famous pop and 

rock musicians as well.

Louis Armstrong was 

probably the most 

influential figure in jazz 

music. His songs "Blueberry 

Hill" and "Wonderful World" 

are internationally known 

as is his signature deep 

voice. In his live 

performances he usually
